Bizzy Reveiws| It’s My Raye Raye Palette

_SAM1984-01.jpeg

Remember when I said my days of buying palettes were over? Welp throw that out of the window… cause lately, I can’t get enough of them. My biggest hang up with palettes has always been that the shades haven’t always been usable and that I don’t get enough use out of them and they end up collecting dust in my makeup drawer. Well, this one is different because it’s a one-stop shop, not only can I use all the eyeshadow shades but it also has a face side that is very usable as well. It is the perfect travel palette and very compact.

Packaging|While I am not usually a fan of cardboard packaging because it can sometimes read as cheap, in this case, I find it optimal. The tri-fold style implemented in this palette makes its compact and easy to take on the go which I love. One of the big pluses to this palette is the mirror which I big enough the see that your doing but not too big that it makes it clunky.

Shade Range/Color Breakdown/PriceThe palette contains a good amount of matte shadows and some beautiful shimmers, which work well for creating a vast majority of eye looks on people of any color. The combinations of plums and reds and neutral shades make it very usable in everyday life. The face portion of the palette spans from fair to very deep. It is very hard to find a deep enough contour shade that works for my skin tone but this palette has one and also a shade fair enough for me to use as a highlight powder. The palette costs $22.50 and that comes down to about $1.07 per piece within the palette.

Fourmula| The matte shadows in the eye portion are a bit chalky but very pigmented and when applied to the eye they blend out perfectly. The shimmer shades are buttery and when dry and wet also go on very pigmented. The face portion is powdery but sheers out well and melts into the skin. The highlight is what I would call blinding and melts into the skin as well.

Honestly, I find it difficult to fault this palette! The shade range and formula is absolutely perfect for me, from the soft and blendable mattes to the intense shimmers. I can take the palette from day to night, work to a festival!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and if you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like‘! If you have this palette, what do you think of the formula and packaging? Leave me a comment below so we can have a chat!
