Just what the world needs another review of the Fenty beauty collection. But hey, it’s Bizzy-mas and I can do what I want 🙂 I really wanted to test out these products before I posted my review of the collection and I think two months is enough time for me to share my honest thoughts on the products.
Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation: The foundation that launched a thousand ships, the campaign featured all shades of women and included 40 shades… but you already know that. I can’t rave enough about the spot on shade match, the longevity of wear and the easy of blending. I wore this for a long 10 hour day and not only did I not have to touch up, it stayed as flawless as when I first applied it.
Match Stix Trio: I love this set not only for the versatility but also for the money-saving deal that it is, you get two matte skin-sticks and one shimmer skin-stick. I love using the matte sticks for contouring and highlighting my face, and using the shimmer sticks for a nice subtle highlight. The matte shades blend out easily and the shimmer shad applies well over makeup without removing what is below it’s which is a rarity for me a stick shimmers. My only hangup is that the lighter shade for highlight is a bit dry for the under-eye.
Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Gloss: I saved the best for last, there where many times i thought of just scrapping this review because it was going to be up late but this product alone is worth talking about! This gloss is in a word: beautiful!, it’s not sticky or slippery at all with such a lovely texture. I love how flattering it is on every skin-tone and how it looks great alone or layered on top of another lip color. The wand is definitely much larger than most, which I like because it feels sturdy and it’s easy to apply. Overall this is one of my favorites.
The Fenty collection is really amazing and definitely one to keep an eye one… what are some of your favorites in the line?
XOXO
