A Little Drunk but Hella Glowy

Beauty, General, Reviews

I told you at the beginning of the year that I was focusing on my skin and how to make sure it’s at its best. I recently heard rave reviews of the Drunk Elephant line and how amazing their products were so I took the plunge and picked up a few of the minis to try out with my morning and evening routine. Like the title of this post says… Hella Glowy my skin has been looking radiant!!!

Have you ever tried something and hoped it didn’t work like you wanted because of the price?… Just me? Well, this is the case with this Drunk Elephant line I am currently loving everything about it and think it’s honestly one of the best additions I have made to my skincare routine in quite some time. I picked up to mini sets from Sephora in Rise+Glow and NightBright. NightBright’s set includes a glycolic acid serum that helps resurface skin while you sleep and Marula oil that hydrates as well as nourishes. Once I am done washing my face and applying my acne serum, I follow up with this serum and apply a moisturizer and lock it in with the oil. Rise+Glow is a two step solution that includes a concentrated Vitamin C serum to help boost even skin and increase radiance and an intense hydration gel that nourish my skin thought the day which is nice going into cooler months since my skin switches from oily to combo.

I have seriously loved these four products in addition to my daily routine and with that love comes a slight hate due to the price points of these full sized items individually. As a set, the morning duo is $23 and the evening duo is $28. While the full-size isn’t price friendly it is effective and if you’re going to pay top dollar for a product it better damn well work and boy does this work. If I had to give it a rating it would be a 9/10 and I only gave it a demerit fore the price.

I recommend everyone try these sets and at these prices, it’s definitely worth the shot.
